Wagaya Barra Beach is located in the centre of one of Mozambique's most famed tourist destinations. Barra Beach, or Praia da Barra, is 30 mins from Inhambane's airport and is the epi-centre of Mozambique Beach Tourism. Broad beaches with clean white sand, lined by towering coconut trees, and a large calm bay with fantastic surfing at one end, and some of southern Africa's best diving a small boat ride away. The area is also famed for having high success rates in seeing and swimming with the majestic whale sharks.
